As always, super fun. Plus I got to touch some shiny new cars that I usually wouldn't. My girlfriend was awesome and got brochures from every manufacturer.

Everything from Acura to Toyota.

Then I took a few pictures of some cars, but my girlfriend took way more than I did.

The customized TLX was awesome. That blue is amazing.

I've fallen in love with a 4Runner Trail. It's the perfect SUV for me.

This F150 was my favorite truck there. XLT Sport with some form of EcoBoost, probably 2.7L.

Z06!! A tuned one at that.

707 roaring ponies confined to a pedestal in a convention center.

I'm just gonna start calling this motor Hellcat Junior.

Godzilla! Locked of course.

Some other thoughts:

I like the Expedition better than the Tahoe.

The Colorado is totally awesome and my dad should buy one.

The MKZ uses insanely too much Fusion switch gear.

The Genesis is a true luxury car. That was amazing.

My mom really should have considered a Mazda 6, it's SOOO nice. Same with every other Mazda.

The Accent and Rio don't feel like cheap econoboxes at all.

I really want a Sonic RS.

The new 300 and Charger are the sex.

I want a Renegade REALLY BADLY.

I do not fit in a NC Miata at all. My eyes are over the top of the windshield and I can't move the pedals.

I really like the Elantra GT.

The Fiesta ST's interior looks weird, same with the Focus.

The Escalade is amazing and totally worth the price.

The Sierra is incredibly roomy. I have legroom to spare in the back with the front seat in my position and I'm 6'4".

The Golf 3-door is great.

The STI looks better in person.

The Civic's interior is incredibly plasticy.

Honda's two-screen infotainment system is weird.

I like the Patriot a lot. And the interior doesn't feel cheap, I have no idea what people are talking about.

I fit in a 500 Abarth!

The F150's interior door handles are weirdly integrated, but clever.

Overall I enjoyed myself. It's was crazy there because we went during peak hours so I didn't get to sit in everything I wanted to, namely the C7. I wish people like BMW and Audi came, but I guess we just aren't a big enough show for them.

The Sonic RS has some of the most comfortable seats I've ever sat in. Great car that.

I thought it felt fine, but then my hands are huge.

My favorite wheel of all was probably the one in the Scion TC, of all cars. Perfect diameter, thickness and just everything about it was perfect.

I really don't understand the Renegade. It looks like a 1st generation Scion XB and the Jeep Patriot had a fetal alcohol syndrome baby. Good for Jeep putting a 6-speed manual in a 4x4 for under $20,000, but the only place I'd drive that abomination is deep in the woods where no one can see me.

The TC does have a nice wheel. It's also not flooded with buttons which is a plus.

The Mk7 GTi wheel is probably my favorite, with the WRX taking a close second. The new S3 wasn't bad at all either.

Try going early on a weekday! Here in DC, That usually works. But you've got to move quickly.

I like the tC way more than I should to be honest...

I never sat in a GTI! How the hell did I forget to sit in a GTI!?

I'm going on Friday next year, maybe even Thursday.

The tC isn't bad at all. Well equipped, reasonably priced, nice stock audio system and good reliability.

The GTI was pretty amazing. It easily felt like it could have been a $50,000 car on the inside, extremely solid car all around. I'm actually considering the 3 door Golf. Even though it's got fake leather and 15 inch wheels, I still love the way it looks. Now if only Volkswagen would bring their damn configurator back so I don't have to symbolically travel to Canada whenever I want to configure a car.
